New Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition Commercials

Two new Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition commercials have been released by The Pokémon Company, via their official YouTube channel. Although the commercials are in Japanese, they still detail some gameplay aspects that have not previously been seen. Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition is scheduled to be released in Japan on March 17th. To date, no official news have been released to the public as to whether this cross-over type Pokémon strategy game will make landfall in the west.

I'm really not too sure what to think about this type of gameplay concept. For me, it doesn't seem very appealing.

Sweet Dreams With Mythical Arceus

Dream No Further, Arceus Is Here!

Back in early November, I posted an article called Vote For Your Pokémon Global Link Pokémon. That article encouraged Pokémon fans world-wide to vote for the Pokémon they wanted most, via the Pokémon Dream World. The results for the poll were actually announced last month but I completely forgot to announce the winner of the poll. I apologize for that, everyone. For some reason, I sort of had a feeling that the Mythical Pokémon Arceus would become the victor to fans all over the world.

From February 1st through <del class='bbc'>February 29th</del> May 1st, you can befriend the Mythical Pokémon Arceus. Once befriended, you can utilize the Game Sync feature to bring it into your Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version game. Don't miss the chance to add this rare, one-of-a-kind Pokémon to your arsenal.

Is anyone else looking forward to this besides me?

My Tornadus Quest Has Finally Ended

Ultra Ball after Ultra Ball after...Ultra Ball. I almost convinced myself that it wasn't going to be possible to catch the highly elusive Flying-type legendary Pokémon Tornadus with an Ultra Ball. He's so incredibly quick that I almost changed strategies and purchased some Quick Balls. Tornadus, National Pokédex #641 (Unova region #147), has finally been captured and registered on my Pokémon Black version. Tornadus is exclusive to only the Pokémon Black version. You can, however, transfer him to a copy of Pokémon White version though. I almost posted a topic in the forums about my seemingly impossible quest to catch him with an Ultra Ball.

For anyone who's wondering, Tornadus roams randomly between routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 16, 15, 14 in the morning time and routes 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 in the evening. Also, I believe it has to be raining. Don't quote me on that though. If someone knows the answer to that, I'd love to know. I, personally, happened to catch him while it was raining on route 13. He's a pretty decent Pokémon and adds some character to your party. I'm not quite sure what Pokémon I want to catch next, but it'll be a legendary type. Also, I'm gonna start trading with a few of the guys in the community so I'm looking forward to playing more often.

Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition Announced

Yes, this is a crossover between Pokemon and Nobunaga's Ambition. For those who don't know, Nobunaga's Ambition is a strategy game series based in feudal Japan. It's such a weird combination, but I wish they would release it in North America. The game is supposed to be released in Japan in 2012, so there's very little chance of it coming stateside, even if it wasn't such a strange concept. If it comes here, I'd definitely buy it, at least.

In 1999, CyberConnect2's Tail Concerto launched in North America, giving gamers a 3D platformer in a world populated by mech-riding anthropomorphic cats and dogs caught in racial strife.
