Now these are floating islands! The one in the background is a big chunk of land with a waterfall that hits the ground below(it's distant in the picture to the left of the moon).

Multi-player map - While engulfed in another mining expedition in the never ending trenches of my domain, I came across something really cool. There were deposits of five of some of the most precious resources; Diamond Ore, Lapis Lazuli Ore, Gold Ore, Redstone Ore, and Iron Ore at the top of the screen.

Multi-player map - This was the first time I actually saw Obsidian while playing. Grooms64 showed me and then attempted to create a Nether Port but realized the didn't have the right tool, a Diamond Pickaxe.

Multi-player map - I ran across a small pool filled with a bunch of pigs. I would have slaughtered them all and had pork for dinner, but it was night time and I didn't want to die. Plus, I don't even think I knew where I was at this time.

Multi-player map - After getting home earlier this evening, I noticed that Grooms logged in to the server. "Cool," I thought! Once in the game, I stepped outside my cave to find a cool-looking Shroom House that he built. Nicely done, Grooms!

Multi-player map - This was kind of strange. It was raining outside...and somehow inside my cave as well. The rain drops weren't hitting the ground, and the top of my shelter is stone so I knew it was a glitch. Pretty neat nonetheless.

Multi-player map - This is an image taken inside my underground fortress. I thought it was nice to actually see a Creeper that I could actually look at for more than five seconds without getting blown to shreds.

Single-player map - While exploring, I came across a few pigs that were trapped on a ledge that led down to a rather large cavern. By the way they were looking at me, I think they thought I was there to rescue them. Sorry little piggies...now give me the bacon!

Single-player map - I honestly didn't know that my subsurface mining expedition was going to end like this. At first, I didn't know what that stuff was. I had to look it up and soon discovered that I couldn't penetrate the bedrock with anything. Oh well.

Not sure if it's a glitch in the game or not, but it's still pretty cool. Water was flowing so I had to stop it. I put two dirt blocks in front of it to stop the flow. Once I did that, I mined my blocks back...and that's what the resultant consequence was.
