Wii U GamePad Has Accessory Connector
Per the Wii U instruction manual, the Wii U GamePad has an accessory connector snuggled in between the two charging terminals. To date, we haven't heard any information on this aspect of the Wii U GamePad hardware. Could Nintendo have designed the Wii U GamePad with the intentions of having future use for some type of transfer pack or connection between the 3DS?

As for my best guess what the accessory connector is for, headset or new Wii U Zapper gun.

On the other hand, I think a possible connection between the gamepad and a 3DS could be realised in a more elegant way rather than via cables. Using the wi-fi module.
The classic controller thant comes with the black ZombieU pack...how does it connect to the console? Wired or wireless?
