Meloetta GameStop Event Coming In March

Meloetta makes melodies in GameStop this March!

Many of our fans have been wondering when the cute Melody Pokémon, Meloetta, will be arriving in the United States. That time has finally arrived. From March 4th through March 24th, 2013, Meloetta will be exclusively available for download at GameStop, via special Wi-Fi distribution event. This special event will be available for the Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, Pokémon White Version or Pokémon White Version 2 games for the Nintendo DS.

Gimme. I've been psyched for Meloetta even more than usual from watching her arc in the early part of Best Wishes! Season 2. Way too adorable. Now when will GameStop let us Aussies have the chance? July?

I would say "That's cruel!", but that wouldn't make me any better a person, 'cos I pretty much do the same with every distribution Pokemon I've gotten since... I don't know what game I got my first distribution Pokemon in. I should check. Same goes for the legendary Pokemon in-game, only exceptions being Mewtwo, Groudon and Rayquaza from FireRed and Ruby, respectively. I don't have anything to show for it, though, as someone I lent Pearl to years ago nuked my save file, so they're all gone ;~;

So, fans are emailing me, telling me that this is available for EB Games in Canada and in the European region. There's only one problem. I haven't seen any type of source alluding to the validity. I hope it's true, though!

Meloetta is a mythical Pokemon that is also genderless but in all reality looks like a girl and sounds like a girl (anime) so I am inclined to call it a girl.

Look at this Pokemon Trading Card... she looks so pretty!

Nintendo Australia will begin distributing Meloetta in Australia from March 4 to April 19. The participating stores aren't just limited to EB Games, either. You can colour me surprised. Not only do we get Meloetta at the same time as North America, we even get a longer timeframe.

I wasn't directing my comment specifically to you, though. Everywhere I look on the Internet, Meloetta is being referred to as "she." It should have totally been the first legendary with a gender though.

Meloetta would have been the second or third gendered legendary Pokemon if it was given one. I'm not sure if any others besides Heatran have genders, so there is at least one.

Totally forgot about Heatran. Good catch, Luffy. And, now that you mention it, I think there are at least one or two more legendaries that have genders.

I found myself looking at Serebii while making that post to confirm if Heatran was a legendary. Managed to confuse myself for a moment. Cresselia is exclusively female, ~~but beyond that, I have no idea.~~ There's also Latias and Latios, which are female and male, respectively. I think that's it.
